We are 7 months

I cannot believe how far along we are. It is going by so fast! We just had a 7 month check up and everything is still going well. On this trip I had to do my blood sugar test, which I failed by 6 points! I now have to do a 3 hour test next week to see if I have Gestational Diabieties. At this point, I just want a healthy baby and will do whatever I have to...including giving up sugar and pricking my finger 3-4 times a day. Here are some of my most recent pictures. I put one of Lily because I have been amazed at what she can already sense. I think she knows that something is different with her mommy. These are pictures of her laying in her favorite place...just underneath Addison.

Update on Addison's Room

Paul's parents were so gracious to furnish Addison's room. We had originally got a crib, changing table, chair and ottoman, and armoire. When we began putting all the furniture together...it was obvious that it would not all fit. Here are some pictures of the room...we still haven't decided what we are going to put on the walls. Personally...we are convinced that this is the most gorgeous babies room every!!! We cannot wait until Addison gets here.

Our New Car

We have been looking into getting a new car for awhile now. We originally wanted an SUV, but after taking into consideration my commute to work and gas prices we decided on a mid-size car. It has all the room we were looking for...not to mention all the warranties that come with a 2008 Hyundai Elantra GLS. We are very happy with the new car. It is hard to tell in this picture, but the color is Black Pearl. It is almost glittery in the sun.

So that was an exciting day for us...The next day I had Eric and Alisha take me to the dealership to get the car cleaned...well...while waiting they ended up getting the exact same car in Blue. We ended the day celebrating together our Brand New Cars.

Winter Wonderland

We have been putting off getting the Christmas decorations out because it takes sooo long to put out. This year was even more difficult because we had to rearrange the living room due to new furniture. I'm anxious to see what changes we will have to make next year having a baby in the house. Anyway...here are some pictures.

Addison's Room

We are so excited about Addison's arrival. We have talked about the stages we wanted to take in getting her room ready. I wanted to get it put together slowly so I don't become more antsy than I already am. So last weekend we emptied the room out. This weekend Paul's parents came over and painted the room. This was a big help considering Paul is horrible at painting and I can't breathe in the fumes. They did a great job and we are so thankful for their help. We will keep you updated along the way:)

Happy Thanksgiving

Our families have so many things to be thankful for this past year. With graduations, new jobs, weddings, pregnancies, births, milestone birthdays, and so much more, it is hard to not be thankful.

I was most blessed by the opportunity I had to spend another Thanksgiving with my PopPop. I had the most wonderful visit with him this past week. I was able to spend a lot of one-on-one time with him. We talked about everything! On Thanksgiving he ate a large meal and then was even hungry for dessert. This is a big deal considering he hasn't wanted to eat for a long time. After eating a large meal we were sitting in the living room and he told me that he was tired. When he noticed I was too, we took a short nap together. He reminded me of the importance of time spent with family. It didn't matter what we were doing or talking about, it was just a joy to have that time.

Paul and I are so thankful for our families and the love we are surrounded by. We are especially excited about our new addition and the begining of our own family.

Happy 50th Birthday

Last week we celebrated Linda's 50th Birthday. On Wednesday Dennis suprised Linda by taking her on a trip to the mountains. When they returned we had a suprise birthday party at the Club House. Here are some pictures from her exciting birthday week!

6 months

I hope you don't get tired of me posting pictures of myself...but this whole experience is so wonderful. The time is flying by so fast and I am trying to embrace it all before everything changes. A part of me is sad about the thought of not being pregnant and a part of me is happy about Addison's arrival. I will have my next check-up on Tuesday so I will be able to post more pictures of Addison. I have been growing so fast this month so I am excited about seeing the difference in the Ultrasound. I just pray that everything will be great and that Addison is continuing to grow into a healthy baby.

Connor Floyd Cook

Kasey and Marshall became proud parents on November 2,2007. Kasey gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Connor Floyd Cook, who weighed 6 1/2 pounds and was 19 1/2 inches long. It is so amazing the love you can have for a new baby. We are so proud of Kasey and Marshall, they are doing such a great job as parents. Here are some pictures of the most beautiful baby boy in the world...

Pregnancy Pictures

Finding out that we were pregnant has been one of the happiest days of our life. So many different emotions ran through our heads. We were so happy because this was a planned pregnancy, but once the fact that we were pregnant set in we began to have fears. Most of all we want to be wonderful parents.
Being pregnant has been so much fun. I love waking up and looking in the mirror to see if I have grown. Up until a couple of weeks ago, people still couldn't tell I was pregnant. It was so frustrating because I wanted to whole world to know and I personally thought I was huge.
As of this week I am 21 weeks pregnant everything is going perfectly. I am finally 5 pounds over my starting weight (this will probably be the last time I mention my weight) and I am REALLY showing. My Aunt Kim was in town last week for the wedding and she brought me tons of cute clothes. My mom and Paul's mom went out shopping and got baby Addison so many cute outfits.
Our due date is March 5 so we will keep you informed until that date.

Eric and Alisha Harris

This was an exciting week for our family. On Saturday, October 20,2007 Eric and Alisha got married. We had our Rehersal Dinner on Friday night which was catered by Gina's Italian. My mom had spend a lot of time planning and decorating for this night and everything turned out wonderful. The next morning we had a Bridal Brunch which was a lot of fun and allowed us to relax for awhile. From then on...the day was full of pictures, pictures, and more pictures. The wedding ended up being beautiful. The reception was a lot of fun with good food, dancing, and more dancing. Most of all it was fun to see family which we don't get to see often. Here are some pictures from Eric and Alisha's Big Weekend.

IT'S A GIRL!!!

Yesterday was a very exciting day!!!! We found out that we are having a girl. We are full of so much joy that we can't stop smiling. We had an amazing doctors appointment. We were able to watch baby Addison move across the screen for almost 45 minutes. We are already so proud of her! She is doing very well weighing 12 ounces and having a heart beat of 149bpm. After our doctors appointment Paul and I met my mom and his mom at Babies R Us and went shopping. This journey has been amazing and we can't wait till she is here. We have attached the 3-D pictures. It is so amazing the features that are already recognizable. Again...we are so happy and so proud. Oh...the picture on the bottom is a shirt that a friend made for me to wear at school. It was so fun to see the other teachers reactions to the wonderful news. Keep Addison Lynn Sadler in your prayers as she continues to grow.

For those of you who have trouble seeing these pictures...the 1st picture is a profile of Addison...if you look closely you can see her sticking out her tongue. The bottom two pictures are of Addison either in deep thought or flexing her muscles.
