An Early Birthday Present!

Eric and Alisha couldn't wait until next week to give Addison her birthday present so we had an early birthday celebration today.  Since Addison doesn't have a "real" pet they decided to give her her first.  Thank God it takes batteries!  They got Addison a Zhu Zhu pet named nugget.  He is the coolest hamseter.  They even got all the necessities to go along with it.  Addison had a blast!

Ethan's Sprinkle

Natalee and Linda threw Paul and I a "sprinkle" for Ethan.  It was a beautiful day and we had a great turn-out.  We now feel ready to bring little Ethan into the world.  We were so surprised at all the gifts we got!  Thank you to all our family and friends!!!

Addison stayed close to the cake table.  She loved the mini-cupcakes the best!

A Fun Weekend!

This weekend was full of fun.  On Friday night the snow started falling.  Paul and Addison played in the snow at the neighbors house as it fell.  On Saturday everything was white!  It was so beautiful.  Paul woke up ready to go play.  He was so excited.  I'm not a snow fan so Paul was hoping that Addison would go play with him...well...she decided that she didn't really care about the snow.  We asked her all day if she wanted to go play outside and she always said "no".  Paul was so disappointed, but played outside by himself anyway.

MiMi and Pappy were at the house all weekend working on Ethan's room.  They painted all day Saturday.  The room looks amazing!  We will post pictures when it is complete.  They also came over on Sunday and added a new fan and window blinds.  While they were working in Ethan's room, I began "nesting".  I cleaned out and organized all the kitchen cabinets.  Then the Paul caught the "itch".  He decided at 8:30 pm that he wanted to paint the hallway.  I don't see an end in sight.  There is so much to do before Ethans arrival.
