Baby Shower

Natalee and Linda threw Paul and I a wonderful Baby Shower on Sunday. We were showered with so many gifts. I was lucky to have family and friends from out-of-town as well as friends from school. We had a great time playing some of the funniest games. I obviously did not have time to take pictures but as soon as I get some I will post them. Here is one of us in front of our many presents.

33 Weeks...Can you believe it?

We cannot believe that Addison will be here in such a short time. About a week ago I woke up in the middle of the night to her rolling around. It was more movement then I had ever felt. Paul's touch typically calms her down, but she continued to move for 2 1/2 hours. I told Paul the next day that she was deffinently up to something. We found out at our doctor's appointment on Thursday that she had moved head-first. It is amazing to know that she is just as ready as we are to meet.
Paul and I are so excited about her arrival. Anytime we do something, we try to imagine how much more fun it will be with Addison.

Uncle Dan

We were so lucky to have Uncle Dan come hang out with us this weekend. We had a great time. We went out for breakfast Saturday morning, then Eric and Dan helped me in my classroom, then we went and saw Kasey, Marshall, and Connor, then we hung out and the boys played Hill-Billy Golf, and then we went to a USC basketball game. We had a fun and busy weekend and can't wait for Uncle Dan to come visit us again.

Paul and Lily

As many of you know, Paul and Lily haven't been the closest of friends since the accident that left her with a ruptured eardrum. If you haven't heard that story...too long. Anyway... I posted awhile ago about how amazed I was that Lily knew something was different about me. She has been going through some "mood-swings" lately...some bad...but she has recently become attached to Paul. I have always wanted them to get along because I pesonally think she is the cutest puppy ever. She now cuddles with him, licks him and follows him throughout the house. It is so cute! Anyway...I know some of you who know the typical relationship that they have...but I have pictures to prove that they really are "in love" now. He has even changed her name and she now responds to Logan...don't ask?!?

GOOD NEWS!!!

We just found out about 30 minutes ago that I passed my blood sugar test! It was such a relief to know that I do not have Gestational Diabetes. I was already preparing myself for bad news. I tried going on a sugar-free diet two weeks ago and I was really struggling. I was also not looking forward to having to prick my finger after every meal.

Anyway...We are so excited and just wanted to share the news with our friends and family.

Anthony Thomas Harris

Anthony was born on December 29, 2007. He weighed 8.5lbs and was 20 1/2 inches long. He has a head full of hair and the biggest feet and hands I have ever seen on a newborn. He is really cute and we can't wait to see him when he is more active. Anthony had the cutest nurse. She has been a nurse for 53 years and still wears the cute nurse hat. Of course Paul felt the need to ask for a hug because she was so cute. I think he got a bigger hug then he expected:)
