An Afternoon with MiMi and Pappy

Today I wanted to take some time to get work done in my classroom, so MiMi and Pappy took Addison out for the day. She got all new school clothes, which she needed really bad. MiMi went crazy with the camera...so I picked some of my favorite pictures.

Play Date

Addison had a play date today with her friend Maddy. Maddy is just 1 month younger than Addison. They are so funny when they get together. Sometimes they just look at each other and laugh...it is so cute. I love seeing Addison interact with other children.

If you look closely you can see the floor full of Cheerios that the girls are throwing, rolling around in, and just having fun with.

A Fun Summer Day

Paul and I have loved having the summer off together. We were watching T.V. last night and we saw on the News that admission to the children's museum was only $1, so we packed up and went. We had a great time!

Earlier that day we enjoyed lunch and shopping with Mimi and Aunt Nat Nat. Addison is now calling everyone Nat Nat...it is so funny!

We got a picture with the weather man, Brookes Garner. He is our favorite...he is also super cute:)

I was painting my toes in the morning and Addison kept insisting that I paint hers. She sat quietly and still the entire time. They are super cute. She is now showing everyone we meet. She is such a girly-girl!

16 months old!

Addison gets Tubes!!!

Addison got tubes on Monday and she was so brave. The night before surgery we went and got some Dora Pajamas! She was so excited. She was showing them off to all the people at the surgery center. Before surgery she had to change into a gown. She looked adorable in her little gown and socks. Within 5 minutes the surgery was complete and within 5 more minutes we were picking her up from the recovery room. The nurses said when she woke up she was playing peak-a-boo. So far everything has gone well:)
