Standing, Crawling, Eating!!!

With Addison's 9 month birthday around the corner she is changing super fast. Today we went into her room and she was standing in her crib, practically hanging over looking at her toys. We had to move her crib down today.

She is crawling so good now. Yesterday she gave up the army crawl and began to move around quickly by crawling like a "big-girl".

Today when we were feeding her she was chewing her food. First of all she doesn't have any teeth. Secondly, her food doesn't require any chewing. She has been watching us so closely and we think she is now ready for 3 foods.

Even with help from other family members, we are still having trouble down-loading videos. When I figure it out I will share with you!

Bath Time

Well...I think it's ok to say Addison is ready for the "real" bathtub. Today Addison not only turned completely around in her bathtub, but tried to stand up. We have been bathing her in this tub because it was so easy for us to get to her and spray her. Things will be different from here on out.

Christmas Tree

I am so happy with the way our tree turned out this year. I added the color teal and it looks so good! It is worth all the time and patience in the end!

Happy Thanksgiving

Our family has so many things to be thankful for this year. I am thankful for my husband and daughter each and every day.

This year we originally didn't have any plans for Thanksgiving so we decided to suprise a few people. We packed the car and drove to Virginia to first suprise my mom. We pulled up into her driveway and realized she wasn't there. I called her and began by having a normal conversation. I asked her what they were doing and she mentioned she was out getting some last minute things for decorating. I told her that the house looked fine. She didn't say anything so I mentioned how I really liked her tree this year. Suprised, she asked "How do you know what my tree looks like?" I told her that I was standing in her living room. She did not believe me and kept repeating that "it wasn't funny, and was not something to joke about". I began walking through the house describing things I would only know if I was there. She finally said, "Oh my gosh, you really are here. I will be there in a minute!"

We also had the chance to suprise the Harris Family by showing up just in time for Thanksgiving lunch. It was so nice seeing everyone.

We didn't get many pictures. Here are a couple of pictures that my mom took.

Here are some pictures of Paul reading to Addison.

Addison loves books more than anything. We have one book that she is beginning to "read to us". She makes the noises and tries to turn the page.

Her personality is changing everyday. She has been so silly these days. I guess when I smile at her I squint my eyes really tight, because whenever she thinks she has done something silly, she will laugh squinting her eyes at me. It is so funny.

False Alarm

After suggested by many, we decided to heat the water up a little. and it did the trick! Amazing! How silly were we? Our little "princess" really knows what she wants. Thanks for all the advice from all our family and friends. I don't know how parents survived without the internet and google:-)

Connor's 1

Today Connor turned 1. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. He had a big party at his grandma's house and he got lots of presents. Here are some pictures of him with his birthday cake. Kasey was up until 2am this morning making the homemade icing. It was really yummy! Connor took Mickey Mouse off the top, but wasn't interested in "digging-in".

Somehow Addison ended up with icing all over her!

Our little Superstar!

Today we were out shopping for some birthday presents and we found a toy, that we were planning to get Addison for Christmas, on sale! We couldn't pass it up. Our little princess deserves it:-) Here are some pictures of Addison playing with her new toy. She loves it! It lights up, sings, and when the music stops she can shake her microphone and a new song will begin. She loves watching herself in the mirror, she just laughs and smiles.

Trunk-or-Treat

We had a lot of fun getting Addison dressed up for Halloween. Our church had a trunk-or-treat so we went there. We felt a little awkward since it was obvious who was going to be eating the candy! We even had a few people ask us what candy we would prefer. Here are some pictures of our little monkey's First Halloween.

Our first stop was my friend Katie. She was even kind enough to come to trunk-or-treat to take pictures for us. Thanks Aunt Katie.

Addison fell asleep before we even got to church, so most of these pictures she just looks tired.

We stopped and visited Kasey, Marshall, Connor, and Mikayla. Mikayla was already dressed up so we snapped a quick picture. She is a wiggle-worm so this is the best one we got. She is gorgeous and still so tiny

Favorite Past time:-(

As of October 24th, Addison officially does not like bath time. This was one of our favorite parts of the day, and out of the middle of nowhere, she hates it! Paul has been so upset. It was his responsiblility, and his favorite time, to give Addison a bath. Let us know if this has happened to any of your children. We are hoping that this stage won't last long.
