Fun times with Aunt Nat Nat and Uncle Adam
Today Aunt Nat Nat and Uncle Adam came to visit Addison. Not only did they watch her while I took a nap, we went to Rush's for lunch, and then went to Riverbanks Zoo and saw all the animals. Even though Addison slept the whole time we think she had a great time. Thank you for hanging out with us today, we had a great time and can't wait to do it again.

Parenthood
We have survived our first 2 weeks. It hasn't been easy, but we have definitely learned a lot. Addison's personality is beginning to show. She is a very strong-willed child. She rules the house right now! She sleeps during the day and stays awake at night. She loves to be held... at all time. We can't wait to watch her grow into a young lady! Here are some pictures from bath time, visits from friends and family, and her sleeping...just to remind us that she does sleep:-)
Keep us in your prayers. We are praying for patience and guidance everyday!

So...here's the story...
Paul and I had our doctors Appointment Monday morning. We were so excited when we finally had the date scheduled for our induction. Paul had to work that day so we went to Arby's for lunch. Well throughout the day my stomach was turning and I thought I had a bad Arby's sandwich. I kept calling Paul throughout the day to see how he was feeling. I thought I was going crazy. The cramping continued throughout the day. For some reason I decided to start timing them. It was very inconsistent, but became more consistent around 7:00pm. I was timing them at 7 minutes apart. I still thought it wasn't a big deal. We stopped timing them because nothing was really changing. We tried to go to bed but that was impossible. Around 11:00pm my contractions were coming 5 minutes apart. We called the doctors and made our way to the hospital. By the time we reached the hospital my contractions were 2 minutes apart and I was already 5cm. dilated. After getting my epidural and having my water broken Addison's heart rate was plunging with every contraction. Before I knew it there were several specialty doctors in my room, monitors hooked up everywhere, it was very scary! We finally made the decision to have the C-section for the safety of Addison. She was born shortly later...and our life hasn't been the same. We are so excited about our new "journey".

Hi Everyone...I'll let Amanda write an elaborate blog later, I just wanted to tell everyone the important stuff. She was born at 9:07 Tuesday morning, she weighed 8 lbs, 4oz. and she was 20.5 inches long. She is a healthy, beautiful little girl :) Here are some of the pictures we have taken. Enjoy! Check out Dr.Sadler, I think I missed my calling, I look pretty hot in those scrubs...

So...I had a wonderful doctor's visit today. I have finally made some progress and we went ahead and schedule for me to be induced on Friday. That is, if we don't go before then. Keep us in your prayers!
