Trip to VA

We had a lot of fun in Virginia this past week. We started our vacation by spending time with my Aunt Kim and Uncle Matt, at their River house. It was a lot of fun. We spent time at the pool, on the boat, tubing, and catching up. Thank you Kim and Matt for being great hosts.

After some time at the river, we went to my mom's house. We had a lot of time just relaxing. Addison loved her uncle Matthew. He showed her how to play all his musical instruments. Paul enjoyed playing the Wii...even though I beat him every time in Bowling...Mom is still the Champ though.

Our Sweet Lily

Today our sweet Lily passed away. We are unsure of the cause of death, but she went away peacefully. Addison loved Lily. We are very fortunate that Addison is still too young to understand. Please keep us in your thoughts as we mourn the lost of our first puppy.

Happy Father's Day

Paul has been an amazing Father. Addison absolutly adores him. The other day Paul was washing some dishes. Addison walks over to Paul and begins pulling at his leg. He stops everything he is doing, clears out the sink, and allows Addison to play in the water. Paul treasures every moment with Addison. Addison is a lucky little girl to have such a wonderful Dada.

5 Year Anniversary

Paul and I celebrated our 5 year Wedding Anniversary this past Friday. We were very fortunate to be able to get away this weekend to a wonderful location on Pawley's Island. The weather was great. We spent the days on the beach, by the pool, shopping at local shops, playing putt-putt, and eating at local restraunts.

We were very thankful to have Paul's family watch Addison...that is a whole-other blog:)

DORA!!!

Addison is a HUGE fan of Dora. She goes crazy whenever she hears the music at the begining of the show. She starts off by screaming Dora and then when she sees Backpack, she keeps screeming Backpack. Once the actual show starts, she continues doing whatever she was doing. She is just as crazy about Blue's Clues as well.

Just the begining...

We are so excited about summer vacation. With Paul home (doing online classes) and Addison and I on vacation, we are going to have a GREAT summer! Here are some pictures from our day at the pool.

Addison's 1st Car

Addison was a late walker. She started walking at 14 months but she still lacks confidence. Instead of walking, it is almost as if she rather run. Today she was outside playing with her new car and we were able to catch her on the camera walking.

My first "show"

I was invited to be a vendor at a Benfit for a child in my school who has a brain tumor. The weather was perfect, not to mention I didn't do too bad for it being my first show.

Another year finished!

I had a great group of kids this year...a couple troubled...but mostly great! Today was my last day with them and it was bitter sweet. Here was our last group picture in our homemade Tie
