Addison's Exciting Weekend!

When Addison got home on Friday her fun weekend started. MiMi and Pappy picked her up Friday afternoon for a SLEEPOVER! She had so much fun. She was spoiled and stayed up until 9:00pm jumping on the couch and being silly. MiMi and Pappy brought her home around noon on Saturday, just in time to go to her friends 2 year old birthday party. After a fun party with a visit from Cocky we headed to MeMaw's surprise birthday party. She was very surprised and it ended up being a great day!

Sunday we always visit MiMi and Pappy after church and we learned today that Addison knows how to climb stairs. She was a pro and she was quick.

Miss Independent

So the other night we were trying to get Addison fed while we were cooking dinner and she wasn't interested in anything. We finally tried some yogurt, but she still wanted nothing to do with it. So we let her be and we continued cooking dinner. I turned around and Addison was feeding herself the yogurt. She was doing such a great job. It wasn't until the end of the cup that things got messy. She even tried tipping the cup to get the last bite. Here are some pictures of "Miss Independent".

Standing...finally!

This weekend Addison decided to get brave and stand on her own. She does it only on HER time...princess:-) She took a couple of steps last week, but hasn't done it again. I'm in no rush...this discovery age is amazing!

I was about to take a picture of me and Addison and she decided to stand on her own...so I got a picture. Paul was just being silly and didn't even know Addison was standing on her own.

Only 4 more weeks...

Today we went to Natalee's first Wedding Shower. She had a big turn out with lots of gifts! We can't believe she only has 4 more weeks!!!

Addison...I love you so much!

Sometimes when I post these pictures, I can't help to wonder how much Addison is going to hate me when she gets older. I was in the middle of changing her and she got away...I couldn't help it!

Addison's Birthday Party!!!

We had an exciting weekend! My mom, dad, brother, Grandma, Grandpa came in town on Friday to spend time with all of us. We had a lot of fun "catching-up" and getting ready for the party. Saturday night, my mom and I stayed up past midnight making the cakes for Addison's party (mom did most of the work). They turned out WONDERFUL! On Sunday it was all about the party. The clubhouse looked great, there was plenty of food, lots of people, and tons of presents for Addison. Thank you everyone for coming out to the party to share this special day with us. She truely knows shes loved.
